MSU's "UCI College Day"

monkeys1It was recently brought to my attention that the Muslim Student Union (MSU) is planning for a major 13 hour event on October 16th, titled "UCI College Day": http://www.msuuci.com/?p=2271

I am surprised by this action, as their one year suspension is scheduled to begin on September 1st. While I am aware that they have filed to appeal the recommendations, this event seems like a bold move on their behalf, given the uncertain nature of their club status.

The Orange County Human Relations Commission unanimously voted to commend Michael Hirschberg, board member of Anteaters for Israel and President of Chabad at UCI, for his courage and leadership in support of good human relations.
