fidel1Fidel Castro, the longtime president and leftist icon who stepped aside during a health crisis but still leads the Cuban Communist Party, has told a reporter that Israel definitely has the right to exist.

monkeys1It was recently brought to my attention that the Muslim Student Union (MSU) is planning for a major 13 hour event on October 16th, titled "UCI College Day": http://www.msuuci.com/?p=2271

I am surprised by this action, as their one year suspension is scheduled to begin on September 1st. While I am aware that they have filed to appeal the recommendations, this event seems like a bold move on their behalf, given the uncertain nature of their club status.

ACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento police are hoping any possible witnesses will come forward after a mural of Sacramento Kings player Omri Casspi was defaced with a swastika for the second time in a little more than a week.
